Leon Vayntraub is a Director in the Chicago Office of Raymond James where he helps lead coverage of Waste & Environmental Services, the firm’s oldest sector-focused investment banking practice.  Mr. Vayntraub has over a decade of investment banking and M&A experience working closely with publicly traded, private equity-backed, and family-owned businesses to build and realize shareholder value.  He has executed over $5 billion of M&A transactions and capital raises with numerous high-quality, privately-held businesses and financial sponsors, with significant experience across the waste spectrum including solid and liquid waste management, recycling/resource recovery, hazardous/specialty waste management, and organic waste.  Mr. Vayntraub began his career as an Investment Banking Analyst at Citi and holds a B.S. in Finance from Rutgers University.
