Jordan Mendel
Director, Houlihan Lokey
Mr. Mendel is a Director in Houlihan Lokey’s Business Services Group and a senior officer in the firm’s Environmental Services practice. He has nearly a decade of investment banking experience advising private and public companies on M&A, strategic alternatives, special situations, activism defense, and capital markets. Mr. Mendel is based in the firm’s New York office.
Mr. Mendel’s recent transaction experience includes advising JF Lehman & Co. on its take-private acquisition of Heritage-Crystal Clean; Charah Solutions on its sale to SER Capital; VLS Environmental Solutions on its sale to I Squared Capital; US Ecology on its sale to Republic Services; GreenWaste Recovery and Zanker Road Resource Management on their sale to Macquarie; TRC on its sale to Warburg Pincus; Covanta on its sale to EQT Infrastructure; and ENTACT on its sale to JF Lehman & Co.
Prior to joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Mendel worked at Centerview Partners. Before that, he was a member of the Mergers & Acquisitions Group at Citi. Previously, Mr. Mendel worked at Booz Allen Hamilton in the Strategy and Organization division.
Mr. Mendel holds a B.S.E. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania, an M.S. in Chemical Engineering from Columbia University, and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
