Managing Director, Raymond James & Associates, Inc.

Mr. Jones is a Managing Director and head of the Environmental Services Practice for Raymond James & Associates. That is the oldest investment banking practice at the firm, with over 110 completed transactions in the last 25 years. One of Mr. Jones’ transactions, the sale of Nuclear Fuel Services to Babcock & Wilcox, was named the “Middle Market Deal of the Year” from the M&A Advisor. Raymond James provides research coverage on 8 of the leading public companies in the environmental services industry. With over 20 years of experience Mr. Jones maintains extensive relationships with industry participants as well as private equity and other financing sources focused on the environmental services industry.

Mr. Jones joined Raymond James & Associates in 1998. His previous experience includes middle-market buyouts with Brockway Moran & Partners and investment banking with Merrill Lynch. Mr. Jones also worked in public accounting for KPMG Peat Marwick and served on the technical staff of the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB). Mr. Jones holds an M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he was named an Arjay Miller Scholar, and a B.B.A. in Accounting, summa cum laude, from the University of Georgia. Mr. Jones resides in the Tampa Bay area with his wife and two sons.
